Hi, my name is Frida.
I was born in Gradačac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and still have family living there. Recently, my sister reported a severely neglected dog — chained, starved, and blind.
That dog was rescued by Nova Nada Shelter, a local animal shelter that steps in when no one else does.
Today, Nova Nada is caring for 150+ dogs, many rescued from abuse, neglect, and the streets. Despite their dedication, the shelter is overwhelmed and struggling with very basic needs.
The shelter’s biggest challenges are:
Lack of space, especially proper dog boxes/kennels
Food shortages for the large number of dogs
High veterinary costs (treatments, medications, emergencies)
An urgent need for a modular/prefab house to be used as a recovery and isolation area for sick, injured, or post-surgery dogs.
This prefab recovery space would allow dogs to heal safely, receive treatment, and rest — something that is currently very difficult due to overcrowding.
How your donation will help:
Build or purchase additional dog boxes/kennels
Provide food for daily care
Cover veterinary expenses
Fund a modular recovery house for vulnerable dogs
This fundraiser is organized with the knowledge and permission of Nova Nada Shelter in Gradačac, and all funds raised will go directly toward supporting their work.
Even a small donation can make a real difference.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign to help spread the word.
Thank you for helping Nova Nada continue fighting for dogs who have no one else.

Funds will be withdrawn to my Swedish bank account and then transferred in full to Nova Nada Shelter via PayPal, which is their preferred donation method.”
