Nova is my 15-year-old Doxie who was rescued in January. Since joining my family, he’s brought so much joy and has been doing incredibly well for his age. Unfortunately, everything changed when Nova suddenly started having difficulty breathing and had to be rushed to the ER. It was a terrifying experience, and seeing him struggle was heartbreaking.

Right now, Nova is receiving the best care possible. He’s in an oxygen chamber, being closely monitored around the clock, and receiving Lasix to help remove the fluid from his lungs. The veterinary team is doing everything they can to help him recover, but the costs for this level of emergency care are adding up quickly.
