Nova, the very good dog that lives on the 1st floor recently had surgery and medical bills totaling over $5300. Her owner, Betty Jo was laid off recently and has been very struggling to make ends meet. Betty Jo was forced to make an early withdrawal from her 401k reserves to cover the costs.

If you can help with offset this, any amount is much appreciated!

The story. Nova's leg was injured in an accident when she was spooked and tripped over in a metal barrier, leaving her hanging upside down in snow until her owner could free her. Her surgery involved placing metal pins along her bones.

This happened to her "good leg". She was found at six months with a broken hip on her other leg and frequently limps from the arthritis. There was no question the good leg had to be repaired.

Her friends here have set up this go fund me and Betty Jo is grateful for any help from her friends and neighbors.

Thanks for reading.
