Help Nova Heal: Emergency Vet Care for a Brave Rescue Cat
Donation protected
I’m reaching out on behalf of my sweet cat Nova, who urgently needs medical care. Nova is a 2.5-year-old rescue with a heartbreaking past—she survived abuse, neglect, and was passed between irresponsible owners. She’s been pregnant three times due to repeated harassment by a male cat, and only recently found safety and comfort in my home.
This week, Nova was diagnosed with a severe ear infection and painful scabs across her body. The vet had to shave off most of her fur to properly treat the wounds. She’s now on medication, but they’ve also discovered a possible tumor that may require surgical removal and further testing.
The total cost of her treatment—including exams, antibiotics, and possible surgery—is estimated to be up to 2,200$ I currently have 300$ saved in my account. . As a full-time student juggling work and rent, this is an amount I simply can’t afford alone.
Nova is finally learning what love and safety feel like. She’s affectionate, curious, and full of life. I just want to give her the second chance she so deeply deserves.
Any donation, no matter how small, would help us cover:
• Emergency vet bills
• Medication and follow-ups
• Tumor biopsy/removal (if needed)
• Comfort and care items during recovery
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this post would mean the world. From both Nova and me—thank you for taking the time to read her story.
With gratitude,
Carson & Nova
