Help Nova & Charlie Evade Eviction

Hey everyone, this Gofundme is to help Nova and Charlie find a new place to live with Aster! Earlier this year Nova and Charlie had to escape from two dangerous living situations, and with Nova recovering from tendinitis due to an injury they got over the summer things have been rough.

In that time Nova and their partner Charlie moved into a new home with several other people and were only able to pay their rent through their roommates. They recently found out that 3 out of 4 of these roommates haven't been paying rent and kept them in the dark about it, and generally haven’t really communicated where they were at financially.

Which brings us to now. Their roommates have put their whole household at risk of eviction and are $7k in debt to the landlord.

Their living situation has been very messy due to all of this and could have easily been avoided.

Unfortunately Nova and Charlie have had to deal with the repercussions of their actions. For those unaware of Nova's situation they were homeless last year and have been trying tirelessly to get to some form of stability.

This has been an overwhelming ordeal and because of their roommate’s irresponsibility and inability to communicate important financial information they no longer feel safe living there.

Which means they have to pay for a potential lease break, find a new place to move, pay for a deposit AND first months rent.

The good news is that we are actively searching for a place and each of us do have income. Initial moving costs are still going to be a problem with moving costs being what they are and Aster being unable to break from her lease early. This will unfortunately mean she will be paying rent for two apartments for our first month, but due to Nova and Charlie's situation with their roommates being time sensitive we won't really have time to wait.

With this said we’re asking for support from our community to help make this happen so Nova and Charlie can finally live somewhere safe and don’t end up with a potential eviction on their records. Anything helps, we truly appreciate it!
