Help Noor Abueta's Family Rebuild Life

Today I face a moment of difficult truth, as there are no other options for me to save my family other than asking for help. I am Nour Khalil, and I live with my wife and children in the Gaza Strip, where wars and displacement are sweeping us without mercy.

I used to own a beautiful house in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, where our life was full of peace and I had my own source of livelihood, but the house was bombed and destroyed and I lost my source of income and the place of work that I owned, which was my only source.

My family and I were displaced from Jabalia, in the north of the Gaza Strip, to Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, thinking that it would be a safe shelter for us, but what happened was otherwise. We were besieged there for several days, and then we were again forced to flee again to Rafah under bombardment and fire. We had hoped to find a safe shelter, but Unfortunately, we were subjected to more bombing, living in displacement tents, difficult life, and daily suffering in providing the least necessities of life in terms of food and drink.

My young children suffer from diseases due to insects, the pollution surrounding us, and the very high temperature here in the tents. My wife and I live in constant fear for our children's lives and safety.

I also suffer greatly from these conditions and the lack of healthy, clean food. I suffer from a chronic immune disease in the eyes, rheumatism, and pain in the bones and joints, and I need constant medication and a healthy diet. I live on cortisone treatment, which I take daily, and my condition is getting worse day by day due to the lack of medicines in the Gaza Strip.

I address these words to you with a bleeding heart and the hope that my family will remain safe. Every small donation can have a huge impact in our lives and be the only difference between life and death for me and my family. Please be a reason to restore our lives and give us a chance to live in peace and security.
