Help MMA-Norwich Alum Evacuated From Kabul
Donation protected
For security, this Missouri Military Academy and Norwich University Alum has asked that his name and photo not be included in this GoFundMe.
During his time at Missouri Military Academy he was actively involved in all levels of cadet-leadership and several clubs, including MMA's own rugby team. After attending Missouri Military Academy, MO for his high-school education, he attended Norwich University, VT for his college education. He was active on the Norwich University Rugby Football Team and various academic clubs and organizations.
After graduation, he returned to Afghanistan in the Summer of 2020 to spend time with his family and to work with USAID.
During the Fall of Kabul in August 2021, he and his family (7 of them total) reached out to the extensive MMA and Norwich University alumni network. After two weeks of tireless work by scores of alumni, a Missouri Military Academy class mate was able to arrange for the family to be evacuated by the Spanish Embassy to Madrid. Given the intensity of the situation, he was only able to escape with a backpack, the clothes on the back, and his family.
I am trying to raise money to support them in rebuilding their lives in Spain, and hopefully the United States when his visa is approved.
Thank you in advance, any support will help the family to begin rebuilding their lives.
