Please take a mow-ment to support North Leeds CC's Gofundme
Donation protected
Nestled on the outskirts of Roundhay Park, North Leeds Cricket Club's Homestead ground has been a community hub for cricket players and spectators, both young and old, for over 100 years.
Recently, NLCC has extended its reach further into the local community, now offering excellent cricket provision not just to three senior men's teams but to an accomplished women's hardball team, a thriving youth development setup, burgeoning women and girls' softball cricket teams and disability cricket - truly something for everyone.
In the current economic climate, it is becoming increasingly costly to run a club like ours and sadly, at the worst possible time, our faithful outfield mower of nearly a decade has finally given up the ghost.
With the cricket season just a few weeks around the corner, we need to find a suitable replacement to ensure that we can uphold our commitment to provide outstanding cricketing facilities to the residents of North Leeds.
We are urgently seeking your support to help fund a second-hand mower to replace our sadly defunct old Toro. Our total costs are expected to be around £16k, so well above the total we are hoping to raise, but we are exploring other ways to help bridge the gap, such as trading our old Toro in for parts.
To this end, any contribution you can afford at this time would be very gratefully received, and rest assured, you will always receive a very warm welcome whenever you call in to enjoy some outstanding cricket or our fantastic hospitality at the Homestead.
