Help Norman Heal After Jaw Surgery – Emergency Vet Bills

Hi everyone, my name is Andrew aka Menji, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my crazy and sweet cat, Norman.

A couple months ago, Norman suffered a traumatic injury that shattered his lower jaw. It was a heartbreaking and terrifying experience. He had to be rushed to an emergency vet, where they placed a feeding tube to keep him nourished and stabilized while we prepared for specialty surgery to reconstruct his jaw.

Thanks to the amazing veterinary and dentist team and Norman’s resilience, the surgery went well and he’s now on the road to recovery. But the journey has come with an overwhelming cost.

Even with pet insurance, the bills for the emergency care, feeding tube, surgery, and follow-up treatments have left me with several thousand dollars in debt. Pet insurance helped, but it didn’t come close to covering everything, especially with upfront payments and out-of-pocket expenses.

Norman means the world to our family not just because he’s a beloved pet, but because of the comfort he’s brought during our own hard times. Earlier last year during another traumatic family event, Norman offered his quiet companionship and gentle purrs when we all needed it most.

Now, Norman needs that same love and support from us—and from anyone who’s ever known the healing presence of a furry friend.
