Our superhero mom, Norma, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer (glioblastoma). At this time, there is no known cure. As a family, we are preparing to support her as she begins her first rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, with the shared goal of spending as much meaningful time together as possible.
For those who know her, Norma is truly one of a kind. She is kind, fearless, and the life of the party, deeply loving and endlessly giving. Her commitment to serving others is evident through her work as a community developer and her dedication as a woman of faith. Even while recovering from brain surgery, she continues to reach out and support those in need. It is now our hope to give back to her during this incredibly difficult time.
The funds raised will help ease financial burdens so Norma can focus on her health and spend her time in the ways that matter most to her. Donations will go toward household expenses, medical and appointment-related costs, and supporting our family as we navigate her treatment and ongoing needs.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, means more to our family than we can express. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please consider sharing this page or keeping Norma and our family in your prayers.
We are deeply grateful for your time, kindness, and solidarity as we face this hardship together. Your support reminds us that no one is truly alone, and it gives us strength for what lies ahead.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Ortiz Family
