Help Norma replace her home from a terrible fire

Update: Thank you all so much for the amazing outpouring of support and love during this heartbreaking time for my aunt. Words cannot express how much this means to her, my cousin, and our entire family. Many have asked if insurance is covering the loss of my aunts home and unfortunately, it was not covered by insurance and Red Cross has provided my aunt with a very small check. My aunt Norma is completely starting over with absolutely nothing but the donations we have managed to pull together so far. Hello, my name is Jess and this morning I received some terribly unfortunate news about my aunt and cousin. Exactly one week before Christmas, my aunts home caught fire while they were both at work. Neighbors managed to free their 4 dogs but we are unsure of the extent of their condition and the potential vet bills that may come. There is no repairing her home due to the severe extent of the smoke, fire, and water damage.

   

My aunt is honestly the last person in this world that should have something like this happen to her. She is quick to help others and would give the shirt off of her back for someone in need. While she is definitely a strong woman and a fighter, no one should have to take on such a devastating circumstance on their own!

My hope is that everyone will donate to this gofundme to help my aunt and cousin replace everything that they have lost, cover vet bills, and to find a new home. They were left with nothing but the clothes on their back.
