Hi, I’m Megan, the daughter-in-law of Norm and Tammy Pattison. I have organized this fundraiser to help them out in their time of need.
For decades, Norm has been the person everyone called when their vehicle broke down—always showing up with a willingness to help anyone get safely back on the road. Norm owned and operated Bulldog Auto-Wrecking in Errington for many years. He has saved countless neighbours, friends, and even strangers from stressful and costly repairs.
Tammy owns and operates Tam’s Takeout restaurant, with Norm by her side lending a helping hand. Together, Norm and Tammy have been the quiet heartbeat of this community, giving their time, energy, and compassion whenever someone needed it.
Now, they needs us.
Recently, Norm suffered a life-threatening medical emergency that led to open heart surgery requiring a triple bypass and an aortic aneurysm repair. While we are immeasurably grateful that he is still with us, the road ahead will be long and difficult. Recovery from these procedures is slow, physically demanding, and emotionally overwhelming.
Both Norm and Tammy, are self-employed. This means that during his healing—and the time Tammy must take off to care for him—they have no income to fall back on. The stress of medical appointments, follow-up procedures, and the day-to-day challenges of recovery is already heavy. The fear of losing the stability they’ve worked so hard for should not be an additional burden for them.
This GoFundMe is your chance to give back to a family who has never hesitated to give everything they could to others.
The funds raised will help:
• Cover household expenses during Norm’s recovery
• Support medical costs, supplies, and follow-up care
• Allow Norm the time he needs to heal safely, without financial pressure
• Give Tammy the ability to remain by his side during this critical period
If you’ve been touched by the Pattison’s kindness, generosity, or hard work, please donate what you can. No amount is too small—every contribution brings them one step closer to stability during this incredibly challenging time.
And if you’re unable to donate, please share this page.
Much gratitude, from the Pattison Family!
