I never imagined I would be in a position like this, but I’m reaching out because my cat is very sick, and the cost of getting her the care she needs has become overwhelming.
As many of you know, Noorie isn’t just a pet — she’s a constant, gentle presence in my life. I originally took her in as a rescue foster, and like many “foster fails,” she quickly became family. For the past three years, she has been my constant companion.
Anyone who has ever met her immediately notices how special she is. She’s incredibly sweet, quirky, patient, and easygoing. She has a soft, affectionate nature and a calm, trusting personality that makes her deeply loved by everyone who knows her. Noorie’s the kind of cat who turns people who “aren’t cat people” into cat people.
About five months ago, everything changed suddenly. Out of nowhere, she began having recurring inflammatory episodes — bringing on fever, pain, lethargy, and distress. Since then, we’ve been in and out of veterinary clinics, running tests, trying medications, and searching for answers. It’s been an exhausting and emotional process, with a lot of uncertainty along the way.
Through all of this, she has remained unbelievably gentle and trusting. Despite the stress, discomfort, and constant vet visits, she continues to be the same sweet, loving cat. She has handled everything with quiet courage and resilience — she truly is a little warrior.
So far, I’ve done everything I can to make sure she gets the care she needs. With the help of generous friends and family, we’ve been able to cover part of the costs, and I’m deeply grateful for that support. Unfortunately, the total has now exceeded $10,000, and we are not at the end of this yet. There are still tests, treatments, and follow-up care ahead.
I’m not someone who asks for help easily, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t do this alone.
If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount, it would mean more than I can express. If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this page would help immensely.
Every bit of support goes directly toward her medical care — helping manage her pain, find answers, and give her the best chance at recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for caring about Noorie.
She truly deserves that chance!
