Help Noor Recover After Surgery

Hi everyone,

My name is Yuan, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my coworker, Nadia, and her son, Noor. Recently, Noor underwent major surgery, and as a single mother, Nadia will take time off work to care for him during his long recovery. This situation has put a tremendous financial strain on her, especially since she will lose 45% of her regular income while receiving Employment Insurance (EI) benefits.

On top of that, Nadia is an immigrant to Canada, and like many immigrants, she doesn’t have a large family support system nearby to help her through this difficult time. As a single mother, she's already faced many challenges adjusting to her son's situation, and she’s also balancing the responsibility of providing for her son with navigating the complexities of his medical care and recovery.

While Nadia is fully dedicated to her son’s health and well-being, the financial burden is growing. The goal is to raise $5000 to help Nadia cover the gap in her income and support her during this difficult period. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward: additional support services for her son during his recovery, daily living expenses (such as rent, utilities, and groceries).
