Noor Hijazi was born and raised in the town of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip. Despite never leaving Gaza and having lived through four wars, Noor started cultivating her passion for fashion design at the age of 12.

Despite living under challenging circumstances, Noor, one of eight children, seized every opportunity available to study fashion design. She is currently finishing up a certificate program in Textile Arts (Sewing) at the Near East Council of Churches (NECCCRW), a Gaza-based NGO that offers youth educational vocational training.

With limited resources and options in Gaza, Noor has relied on Youtube channels to educate herself and develop her craft. Her skills and passion for fashion have been featured on CNN.

We have set up this GoFund Me because Noor has been accepted to an undergraduate program in Fashion Design at Polimoda University, a world renowned fashion institution in Florence, Italy. Noor would like to explore how to integrate traditional Palestinian textiles and embroidery and with modern designs. With your support, we can help Noor achieve her dream of becoming a fashion designer and paying her tuition fees at Polimoda University.
