Help Noor Fight FIP Give Him a Chance to Live

Hello, Animal lovers and kind hearted souls,

My name is Madiha, and I live in Karachi, Pakistan. I am a dedicated animal rescuer, currently caring for 157 animals, including cats, birds, and others. I spend my days and nights ensuring their well-being, feeding not just my rescues but also the stray cats, dogs, and birds in my neighborhood.
In a country where animal abuse is so common that people laugh at rescuers like me for simply feeding or caring for animals, receiving donations is an even greater challenge. But today, I am here to ask for your help because I cannot do this alone.

Noor’s Story – A Fighter from the Start

On November 19th, I came across a post in a local group about a tiny kitten struggling to survive on the streets. He was left alone, completely blind, wandering near moving cars. Without any clear information, I went on a blind search, and by sheer luck, I found him.

When I picked him up, he was terrified, clinging onto me so tightly that his claws felt like knives against my skin. He was covered in fleas, severely anemic, and starving. The moment I gave him food, he devoured it like he hadn't eaten in days.

As I tried to clean his infected eyes before taking him to the vet, one of his rotten eyeballs fell into my hand. It was horrifying, but thankfully, there wasn’t excessive bleeding. At the vet, he received treatment, eye drops, and ointments. A few days later, his second eyeball also fell out naturally, and he didn’t even need surgery.

Today, Noor is completely blind, but he is healed, happy, and full of love. He recognizes my presence, rubs against my legs, purrs loudly, and plays joyfully with his feline friends. He has been through so much, but he never stopped fighting.

A New Battle – Noor Has FIP

Just when I thought Noor was finally safe, life took another unexpected turn. A week ago, I noticed his belly slowly swelling. Initially, the vet suspected bloating, but within days, his abdomen had grown excessively large. After further tests and an X-ray, my worst fear was confirmed Noor has FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).

FIP is a deadly disease, but it is treatable with an 84-day course of GS-441524 injections. The treatment, however, is incredibly expensive.

Yesterday, I purchased Noor’s first vial, which cost me 30,000 PKR (£85 / $100).He will need at least 28 vials to complete the treatment, which I simply cannot afford on my own.

How You Can Help

I have dedicated my life to saving animals, but today, I need your support to save Noor. He has already fought blindness and survived unimaginable pain he deserves a third chance at life.

Even a small donation can make a difference. If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser. Together, we can save Noor and give him the life he deserves.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support. Noor and I are forever grateful.
