My name is Spike Murphy-Rose from California, and I am hosting this fundraiser for Noor and her father, my friend Mahmoud, who live in Gaza. These are their words:
"This is my story.
My name is Mahmoud, from Rafah.
I have been displaced since May 2024 in a canvas tent in Al-Mawasi, Khan Yunis.
I am married and have a 4-year-old daughter named Nour.
The skin of my feet has become infected with disease and insects because of the horrid conditions here, making it harder for me to provide for Noor.
I used to own a women's shop. I sold makeup, accessories, and bridal supplies. But my workplace was destroyed, as was my home.
They destroyed everything I had built."
Despite the ceasefire, aid is still being illegally restricted from Gaza making every day a struggle to survive for Noor and her family. All donations go directly to the family and are used for the most basic of needs: food, shelter, and medicine.
