Everyone, Hi, my name is Stefano, I am based in the UK/ London.
In a world that often feels divided, the unbreakable spirit of families in Gaza has touched my heart profoundly. This campaign is my way of standing in solidarity with them. Helping Noor to achieve his goals in live
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
My name is Noor Abu Omer, I am 23 years old, and I was born and raised in Gaza — a place that was once full of laughter, family, and dreams.
When the war began, everything changed in an instant. Our home was bombed while we were still inside. The walls shook, the air filled with dust and screams, and in those terrifying moments, my life and the lives of my family were shattered. Some of my loved ones were injured, and all that we had — our home, our belongings, our memories — turned to rubble before our eyes.
We escaped with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. Since that day, my family and I have lived a life of constant displacement — moving from one unsafe place to another, always searching for a corner of peace, a bit of safety, a small roof to protect us from the cold and fear.
After months of moving from one destroyed area to another, we finally reached the south of Gaza, where we now live in a tent. Life here is extremely hard. Every night, we try to sleep surrounded by mosquitoes and insects, and every morning we wake up to the sound of children crying and people searching for food and water. There is no comfort, no privacy, no safety, only survival.
The days are scorching hot, and the nights are freezing cold. Rain sometimes floods the tent, and when the wind blows, we worry it will carry our fragile shelter away. Despite all of this, I try to remain strong — for my family, and for the dreams that still live inside me.
Before the war, I was among the top students in Gaza’s high school class of 2020, in the scientific stream. I worked hard, full of hope for my future. My dream was to continue my education, to become a person who could help rebuild my community, and to give my family a better life. But the war stole that dream away from me.
Yet even in the middle of all this pain, I refuse to give up. I still believe that with the help of kind people around the world, I can rebuild my life, continue my studies, and bring my family out of suffering.
Today, we need help just to survive — for food, clean water, medicine, and the most basic things every human being deserves. But beyond survival, I dream of hope — of being able to study again, to work, and to give my family a future that is more than just survival.
Your donation, no matter how small, can change everything for us. It can mean a meal for a hungry child, a warm blanket during the cold nights, or a chance for me to continue my education and rebuild my life.
Please, stand with me and my family in this dark time. Be the light that helps us rise again from the ruins.
Together, we can build a new story — one not of loss and pain, but of hope, education, and dignity.
From the bottom of my heart,
Thank you for believing in me, for caring, and for giving us hope.
