Help Noodles Heal
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Noodles, a two-year-old Silken Windhound . On Tuesday, November 2nd I got over-excited about a sweet, old pitbull in the dog park and wanted to show him how fast I could run. I started my zoomies, where I run as fast as I possibly can (my breed can run up to 40MPH!).

Unfortunately, I didn’t notice a small ditch in the tall grass and I didn’t quite make the jump when I leaped across. I ended up breaking my radius ulna just above my front left paw in the tumble. Thankfully, Mom and Dad were able to quickly get me to the ER without problems or complications. A big thank you to the incredible team at the VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital.
Mom and dad could use your help
Unfortunately, over the course of this year, we have both lost our jobs. One of our unemployment benefits will cease in December, leaving us with even less to live off of. We are doing fine with our savings for our day to day survival, but the cost of Noodle’s surgery far outweighs what we have set aside in these challenging times.
So we are turning with open hearts to you. We understand this year has been hard on everyone and even your well wishes or a follow on Instagram alone means the world to us. If you have the opportunity to help get Noodles back running up to speed, it would mean everything to our family.

Where your donation goes
The total cost for Noodles’ surgery came to $4,092.19. Plus she will have at least 3 months of follow-up visits, Xrays, and prescription refills. We will be using any donations towards:
· $4,092.19 surgical costs.
· $500-$700 in her follow up visits and medications.
· $100-200 for a new bed and other necessities since she can’t sleep with Mom & Dad for the next few months.
Noodles is our world and the best thing that has ever happened to us. She is so well behaved, loves to smile, and more importantly, gives kisses and does tricks for every person that comes near so she can bring a smile to their faces. We will do everything in our power to help our little noodle dog, we have full confidence that she will make a complete recovery by the spring!

Thank you, truly, just for taking the time to read this, and especially if you’re able to donate even just $1.
We would be so thankful if you choose to share your hard-earned dollars with this bright and shining light of a dog, and equally thankful if you share this link with friends and family on Facebook or Instagram. We will be posting regular updates to this page, or you can follow Noodles on Instagram at this link (@noodlesthesilken) for daily updates, sillies, and shenanigans.
