UPDATE:

thank you everyone so much for the love, prayers, messages, and support over the past couple of days.

Noodle is home, stable, and resting comfortably and we’re so relieved to have her back with us.

Upon check out, and for many reasons we are very upset about, we accrued a very large bill. But it was not $15,000 like we and the doctors were initially expecting. For that reason, we’re lowering our goal and covering the rest. We want to thank you guys again for all of your support and for showing us how special it is to have a loving community and amazing friends.

We appreciate everyone checking in and holding our sweet girl in your thoughts. It truly means more than we can say.

Those of you who know Noodle know she is playful, silly, and just a bundle of joy. She brings so many people in our lives happiness, and she’s only been on this earth 11 months.

This week, Noodle started feeling sick. We thought it was just a G.I. bug, but over the past day, she has quickly become more ill. The vets were certain in the beginning that it wasn’t a foreign body object, but out of caution, we all agreed to do an x-ray and discovered that she does in fact have a foreign body object lodged in her intestines. I understand that John and I made the choice to bring a dog into our lives and not purchase pet insurance, and so we are unfortunately forced to deal with those decisions now. The vet—especially the emergency vet—is not cheap. We are looking at a $15,000 bill to save our baby. Again, I understand this is our responsibility and we will do whatever we need to do to ensure that we do everything we can to save her, but any help that anyone is willing to give would be more than appreciated. I know it might be tough with the holidays approaching, but even a small donation would help us. If you can’t donate, please just say a little prayer for our puppy.
