Help Nonna Lucia's Owners after Loss
My name is Colleen Verwer Auger. I am raising money for Michelle (Verwer)
and Julio Licona who own Nonna Lucia. My sister and brother-in-law are two of the hardest working people I know. They have encountered struggle after struggle but through determination and hard work they managed to make it through the ups and downs including the pandemic, by putting everything they had back into the restaurant and taking loans to get through the past year.
During tropical storm Danny they sustained damage to the restaurant. They have been closed for an entire month already
It will be another two months before they can reopen. They will be unable to survive the financial impact and will be forced to vacate. The bills and the payment plans keep coming and they are struggling to stay afloat.
Nonna Lucia has raised money for many organizations. During the pandemic they raised money so students of our community could go off to college with things they needed and alleviate some stress for the families. My sister has always been involved in the community. Please help me help them. The money I am trying to raise will help them to live until they can figure out what to do.
