Help Nolan Recover and Honor Jessica's Memory ❤️
Donation protected
Early Saturday morning, siblings Nolan Rainwater and Jessica Rainwater were riding together on a motorcycle when their lives were forever changed.
A drunk driver hit them head-on, taking Jessica’s life instantly at the scene. Nolan survived, but he is now facing unimaginable injuries and grief.
Nolan’s injuries are extensive and life-altering. He has endured:
The amputation of his left leg above the knee
Multiple surgeries, including wires and a cast on his broken left hand
Severe bruising to his lungs and painful scars across his body
On top of his physical pain, Nolan is mourning the loss of his sister, his best friend and "rock."
This tragedy happened just days before Nolan was set to start medical school, a lifelong dream he worked tirelessly to achieve. Now, that dream is on hold as he focuses on recovery.
To make things even harder, Nolan was in between jobs as he prepared for school, and his health insurance hadn’t yet gone into effect. With no steady income, mounting medical bills, and the need for extensive rehabilitation and prosthetics, the financial burden is overwhelming.
Nolan is one of the kindest, brightest, and most determined people you could meet. He has always been the first to help others—and now, he’s the one who needs help.
We are raising funds to help cover:
Medical bills and hospital expenses
Prosthetics and physical rehabilitation
Living expenses as he recovers and adjusts to his new normal
Funeral costs for Jessica
If you are able to donate, every single dollar will make a difference in helping Nolan heal, rebuild, and eventually return to his dream of becoming a doctor—a career dedicated to helping others, just as he’s always done in his own life.
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page means the world to us.
Please keep Nolan and our family in your prayers as we navigate the painful loss of Jessica and support Nolan in his long journey to recovery.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
