Help Nola the puppy recover from Parvovirus

Donation protected

Jane and her family suddenly lost their whippet Boo in a horrific accident earlier this year.   They looked for a puppy as a companion for their remaining dog and the kids.

They found someone with some lovely puppies and were told she had been vaccinated, microchipped and wormed.  When they went to view and collect,  they were given vets certificates and shown the mother dog. Little Nola loved being in her forever home, bringing lots of laughter, love and mischief.

After only a few days she became sleepy, which initially was put down to the hot weather. She collapsed and was rushed to the vet.  A  couple of days later she was sent for critical care and diagnosed with Parvovirus. She has been there since Saturday 19th June fighting for her life.

The vet has advised that Nola has no microchip, has not been vaccinated or wormed. The certificates are apparently for another dog. It is unlikely that the healthy “mum” that they were shown was Nola’s real Mum. It appears that this is an organised puppy farm, and RSPCA.

In the meantime, the vet bills have become a huge problem, currently quoted at £8,000-10,000. This is far beyond the initial quote and the means of Jane and her family.

We are reaching out for help. Any donation, however small, would help to give this little pup a chance to recover, while relieving a little of the stress and pain of this family.
