Help Nola Garrison Heal

Donation protected
On August 24th, 4 year old Nola Garrison was taken to a local ER for complications with asthma.  The doctors quickly discovered that her little lungs were very, very sick. She was air lifted to Riley’s Children Hospital in Indianapolis where they put her on an ECMO machine. The ECMO was used to pump and oxygenate Nola’s blood outside of her little body, allowing her lungs to rest and heal.

The week that followed was filled with uncertainty and a lot of prayers.  Nola was fighting hard.  Hard enough that they were able to take her off of the ECMO on Aug 30th and place her on a ventilator.  As of today (Sep 7th) Nola was taken off of the ventilator.
The picture above is the first time her parents were able to hug their baby girl in 2 weeks.

The Garrison family still has a long road ahead of them. They will most likely be in the hospital for an extended period of time. Nola’s parents, Kent and Kelsi, have been by her side the entire time while still caring for their other three children.

Please consider helping this strong, loving family anyway you can so they can concentrate on helping Nola heal.
