My sister Noemi is a gentle and compassionate soul who has always loved people for who they are inside. She previously worked for a non-profit organization that helped people facing homelessness and drug abuse, showing kindness to those in the toughest situations. Noemi has lived in the U.S.A since she was 8 years old, and this country has become her home. She knows very little about her home country, and her life, friends, and dreams are all here.
Noemi is not a criminal and has no criminal record. She graduated high school just a year ago and was barely taking off with her life, full of hope and ambition for her future. On July 4th, Noemi was detained by ICE and is now being held at a detention center. Our family is devastated and urgently seeking help to afford an immigration lawyer who can fight for her case. The funds raised will go directly toward legal fees, attorneys, and immigration processes, giving Noemi the best chance to continue her life and future here with us.
Your support means everything to us. This is our last fight before God decides what happens for my sister and for us, as a family. Any help you can offer will make a difference, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness during this difficult time.
