As many of you know, our sweet Noelle was diagnosed with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy in 2024. This condition causes tightness in the muscles of her legs, leading to stiffness and difficulty with movement. While she’s made incredible progress, the tightness is now also affecting her hips, leading to hip dysplasia—and preventing her from walking independently.
After much prayer, research, and consultation, we are thrilled to share that Noelle has been approved for Selective Percutaneous Myofascial Lengthening (SPML) surgery with Dr. Yngve at the University of Texas in Houston. This minimally invasive procedure will release the tight muscles in her legs and reduce the pull on her hips. With a carefully guided recovery, Dr. Yngve believes Noelle’s hips could return to their proper position—without needing additional surgeries. Her surgery is scheduled for July 25, 2025, and we will be traveling to League City, Texas, to make it happen.
In addition to her SPML procedure, Noelle is also scheduled for bilateral eye surgery on December 18th at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. This surgery will loosen the muscles on the inner part of her eyes to help correct alignment issues and support her visual development. Like the SPML procedure, this surgery is a vital step toward improving her quality of life.
This GoFundMe will help cover the costs for both surgeries, as well as the therapy, travel, and care that will be required during her recovery. Asking for help is never easy, but we’re deeply grateful to everyone walking this journey with us—whether through prayer, kind words, or generous support.
We are deeply grateful for how far Noelle has come and how God continues to show His goodness through her strength. We’ve also seen His grace through the kindness of so many people around us. If you're able to give, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And if you’re not in a position to give, we ask for your prayers—especially on surgery days and throughout Noelle’s healing journey.
With love and gratitude,
Noelle’s Family
