Help NOC French Broad Staff get above water!

My name is Andy Gallatin. I am a raft guide for Nantahala Outdoor Center on the Pigeon River. I am creating this GoFundMe for the NOC French Broad staff in Hot Springs, NC. The storms that fell on the southeast this past weekend wreaked havoc on our rivers. The same rivers that give us purpose in life have taken away everything they own. While we pray for high water, this was a little much. While the river gods spared the Pigeon staff, the French Broad staff wasn’t as lucky. The flooding of the French Broad was the worst on record. It destroyed the staff housing along with all the guides' possessions. While raft guides live a simple life, everything we own holds a special meaning both physically and emotionally. Thinking of those things being taken from them is devastating. All funds raised will go directly to the staff who was affected by the floods. Let’s help get them back in the flow of the river of life when the water recedes.
