Update: About 2 hours ago we were told they're planning to send him down to Seattle. It could be today or tomorrow depending on weather and flights. We're still not sure if he's going to have the surgery before he leaves or after he gets to Seattle. My husband has considerably more PTO and also works remotely. We can't afford to lose what little income I bring in, so I will be staying behind and he will be going with Noah.

My son is a 5th grader who had a massive seizure episode 3 more months ago, we were sent home with no real answers. Yesterday he had a followup MRI and it shows a large mass, bleeding, swelling, and pressure. The neurosurgeon is doing surgery today. Mainly to get a biopsy and do palliative care by evacuating the bleeding to relieve pressure. The neurosurgeon said the tumor as a whole is unresectable. I'm not sure if anyone's kiddos know or are friends with my son, but my family would appreciate prayers and hope
