Together for Noah: A Journey of Healing and Hope
Donation protected
Noah Henslee, son of Chad and Jill Henslee, has been fighting a
tremendous battle for over a year. He was first diagnosed with Type 1
Diabetes at 15, which was a significant challenge in itself. However,
things took a turn for the worse when he was later diagnosed with a
rare and severe case of Neuropathy.
While in college, Noah experienced a severe flare-up of his
Neuropathy, which left him nearly incapacitated. The intense pain
forced him to quit hockey and prevented him from attending classes.
Unfortunately, the local hospital couldn't pinpoint a diagnosis, and
he was too ill to travel back to Oklahoma by car. After six months,
Noah was finally able to fly home, where he began seeing a series of
specialists. Despite undergoing surgery, he did not see the
improvement he had hoped for.
Eventually, we found a doctor who is using cutting-edge treatment
techniques. Noah was thrilled about this new hope, only to be
heartbroken when he learned that his insurance would not cover the
costs. This is when we launched the GoFundMe campaign to support his
treatment. Noah has made significant progress with each treatment, but
we need additional funds to help him complete the most intensive phase
of his therapy.
Noah's passion for hockey began in Oklahoma City at Arctic Edge, and
he continued to excel in college hockey in Angola, Indiana. He has
always been an outstanding student, maintaining a 4.0 GPA in high
school and making the Dean’s List and Presidential List in college. He
has consistently been one of the top scorers on his team. His love for
hockey, combined with his dedication to his studies and faith, makes
this journey even more critical.
Please consider donating to help Noah finish his treatment and get
back to the sport he loves. Your support is crucial for him to achieve
his dream of returning to school and hockey. Thank you for your
generosity.
