My name is Noah Hendon and I am a freshman at Ocean Springs High School. Playing music has been part of my life since I was small. I have taken drumset and piano lessons at Rock U 2 since I was 5 years old. In 6th grade I began playing the euphonium and since then have also dabbled in flute and trumpet skills.

Entering high school and joining the Ocean Springs Blue Grey Pride has been an amazing experience. I have grown so much as a musician during just this first semester. As part of my program, I auditioned on the euphonium for the Mississippi Lions All State Marching Band. I am very proud to say I was selected as a member!

With this honor, I am invited to represent the state of Mississippi at the 108th Lions International Convention for the Parade of Nations to be held in Hong Kong, China in June of 2026.

I am very excited for this opportunity and I would be honored to represent our state at this event along side other Mississippians and other musicians from around the world. Being a freshman, I feel grateful to have even been selected.

I am looking for sponsors to help me make this trip a reality. I have never traveled out of the country and would appreciate this chance to experience the world. Thank you for your consideration.
