⚽ Help Noah Get to Barcelona for the Opportunity of a Lifetime!

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a full heart (and a little humility) to ask for help giving my 12-year-old son, Noah, the opportunity of a lifetime.

Noah has been invited to attend a weeklong elite training camp with Fútbol Club Barcelona in Spain this February (2026) — a once-in-a-lifetime chance to train with world-class coaches and experience soccer at the highest level.

He was selected after participating in a weeklong training session in Kingston with FC Barcelona coaches earlier this month. His passion, determination, and love for the game stood out — and they saw in him what I’ve always known: this kid lives and breathes soccer.

Even more exciting, one of Noah’s best friends, Colby, who he played with for years at Kingston United, has also been invited! The boys are already working together to come up with some fundraising ideas (stay tuned for updates on that!).

Noah has loved soccer since he could walk. I signed him up with the Greater Napanee Soccer Club at the age of 2 or 3 because I thought it would be a good way for Noah to interact with other kiddos and expel some energy! I remember chasing him across the fields during games because he was so eager to be a part of each one. Little did I know that 10 years later, it would turn into what it is today.

Now, he’s playing Tier 1 in his Pre-OPDL (Ontario Player Development League) year with KU, and he hasn’t slowed down one bit. He studies every game, practices constantly, and dreams big. This camp isn’t just about soccer — it’s a chance for Noah to grow, be inspired, and challenge himself in a once-in-a-lifetime environment.

I’m doing everything I can to make this happen — but the costs of travel, accommodations, and camp fees are more than I can manage alone. That’s why I’m (hesitantly) putting my pride aside and reaching out to our amazing community, family, and friends.
