Hope for Noah
Donation protected
My name is Dominique Lavalle. It is my deep love for Noah Rombough that compels me to create this GoFundMe page. A page of hope. If you have been fortunate enough to have met Noah, even for a moment, you will have been touched by his kindness, compassion and genuine love for you. His laugh is infectious, his smile will light the dark, and his purity of soul can be felt immediately. I have never met anyone like him, and I doubt I ever will. I have started this fund to assist Noah on his journey through intensive physical and emotional rehabilitation and to help fulfill his deepest hopes of eventually receiving a prosthetic arm.
On Monday, June 13th, 2022, Noah was injured in a tragic accident. Due to the severity of his wounds, the doctors had to amputate Noah’s left arm up to his shoulder. The pain and anguish felt by his family is beyond words. When his eyes first opened as he came out of anesthesia and he was told he had lost his arm, he looked away from the doctors and into the tearful eyes of his family, immediately asking if they were okay. This beautiful young man was more concerned with their distress and suffering, than his own circumstances. But if you know Noah, it wouldn’t surprise you. Always others before himself.
Noah will face multiple surgeries and a skin graft before he will truly begin the process of healing. This will be a long, difficult journey, but Noah is alive and doing an incredible job of facing this head on with courage and hope. Noah and his family are so thankful for all the love and support they have already received by way of generous meals and caring messages. The outpouring of love has carried the family during this difficult time.
Noah will begin his senior year at Stevens Institute of Technology in the fall. He is a computer science major and has a passion for programming. All those who know him know he has an amazing mind with an insatiable desire to study and learn. However, with the new year will come a whole new set of challenges. So many of the simplest of tasks have become some of the most difficult to navigate. Despite this, Noah has an indomitable spirit and a flame of hope that although so many doors have been closed, many new, exciting and unknown opportunities will open in their place.
Please help support Noah Rombough on this journey of hope.
He can and he will.
