Help Noah Chase His Ice Hockey Dreams

Donation protected
My name is Melissa and I am a single mom to a 13-year-old ice hockey player named Noah. Due to a number of life happenings over the last few months, I am currently not able to fund the 2025/2026 season for him and I am running out of time to make it work as the season kicks off mid-September.

Noah joined the MWC team last year for his first full season and fell in love with the sport. He has ADHD and throughout his life, we have tried every sport out there with no success. Ice hockey is not only rapid and intense enough to keep up with the speed of his brain, but the drive to help his teammates succeed has also played a role in helping the sport stick.

Prior to life getting in the way, he participated in full summer day camp this summer. When he was not on the ice, he was at home practicing off-ice stick-handling and launching balls/pucks not only through my house but in the yard outside. With the completion of summer camp, Noah is now looking forward to pond hockey season, which is upon us in the Midwest. His long-term goal at the moment is to keep developing his skill set in hope of making the high school team for 2026/2027.

At this point, I am not sure how to tell my son that the fall season is going to fall through. As a parent, I feel like the sport helps keep him out of trouble while helping him to establish relationships, build confidence, and manage his ADHD.

I feel like this is a long shot but to anyone that can help, we appreciate it more than you know.
