I am reaching out on behalf of my longest life friend Ashley, her husband Noah, and their three small children Ryker (11), Conri (7), and Harlow (5).

As many of you know, Noah has been facing one of the toughest battles of his life, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). He was originally diagnosed in May of 2020. In February of 2022, after what he thought was just a work-related injury involving a fall, they found out that cancer has progressed to Stage IV, spreading to his bone/ left pelvic iliac crest. Doctors were able to identify the specific cell type and he was able to take an oral chemo agent that kept the cancer isolated. That leads us to the here and now, July 2024. Noah has got the devastating news of multiple affected areas; severe progression in his left pelvis, 7th rib, lymph node level 2 and level 3, new supraclavicular lymphadenopathy, and T7 transverse process all of which is new in the last 6 MONTHS.

We rallied before for them with the generosity, and support of the successful meal trains. That allotted them one less burden in uncertain times. We need to rally again.

Facing cancer at any phase is not only emotionally taxing, it also comes with significant financial burdens in these uncertain times. Uncertainties of treatments/ infusions, medical bills, medical appointments, loss of income as Noah fights this horrendous battle. Noah had said, “we are all already living on borrowed time, my time is cut shorter with every phone call when I get new results” and has said he’s not afraid of what will happen to him, he’s afraid of how this will impact his kids.

I know they would never ask, I know that all of this has been a strenuous and financial burden, especially at the rate of progression it is going at. Every dollar donated will go a long way in easing their strife, go toward Noah’s medical expenses, and concentrate on what truly matters…. Beating Cancer and watching their three kids grow up.
