Help NMSU Aggie Clay Target Team Reach Nationals
Donation protected
Did you know there's an NMSU Aggie Clay Target Team?! They are newly organized and need community support!
They are the only college club that offers competitive shotgun shooting at the collegiate level in New Mexico. The club promotes and demonstrates firearm safety, team building, friendship, mental and goal setting, and just having fun.
The goal this next season is to be able to send a full team of athletes to over five collegiate events, including the collegiate national championships in March 2026. Your donation will help with travel costs, practice expenses, and ammo.
We are reaching out to the community for donations to help our team members attend events throughout this next competition season and place at collegiate nationals. The ACUI/SCTP competitions will consist of skeet, skeet doubles, trap, trap doubles, sporting clays, super sporting, and international trap/skeet. We appreciate any and all the support!
More about the club:
Students at New Mexico State University are very excited to establish the Aggie Trap and Skeet Club through the NMSU Club Athletics. Now that we have a club, we have established a relationship with Mesilla Valley Shotgun Sports, which will be assisting in providing the facility for our practices.
Currently, our club has 15 active members, and we are currently recruiting more members for next year through the NM High School/SCTP program. We currently have signed Aggies from Carlsbad, Los Alamos, Las Cruces, and Albuquerque. We welcome novice to experienced shooters that want to continue their shooting and academic career at NMSU. Our current members are studying in the fields of Agriculture, Engineering, Nursing, ROTC, and several other degrees.
Our club recently sent several members to the following shoots:
2024 Collegiate Lower Midwest Super Shoot - American Events (ACUI/SCTP) NMHSCTA Jan and February Head-to-Head.
2025 Collegiate Nationals – (ACUI/SCTP)
NMSU Motto: Be bold. Shape the future.
100% of all donations support the team.
