Help Nkumbu finish her Senior year at Howard

Hello everyone, My name is Nkumbu Kamfwa, and I am an international student from Zambia currently in my senior year at Howard University, pursuing my dream of becoming a Doctor. However, due to the high costs of tuition, fees, and living expenses as an international student, I am facing a significant financial challenge that threatens to derail my academic journey. As an international student, I am ineligible for federal financial aid, and the cost of tuition, fees, and living expenses in Washington, D.C., is substantial. Another big drawback is the increase in tuition but not an increase in the financial aid or scholarship money from my host institution. The last three years my parents have sacrificed a great deal to support my education, but they can no longer afford the costs. With just one year left until I complete my undergraduate studies, I am turning to the kindness and generosity of others to help me continue pursuing my dream of becoming a Neurosurgeon.
