I am committed to a strictly nonpartisan program to educate and empower middle and high school students about the importance of voting. By educating our next generation of voters, the intention to vote increases dramatically. To help bring this program into schools, I have created a scholarship "The Schmiedel Family Foundation Scholarship" with seed money of $5000, for five $1000 awards to start. I am asking your support to help grow our fund in order to help us open the door to more schools and help more students seeking civic engagement in their communities.
