Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and immense love for our beloved Juan “Nito” Torraca, who is currently on hospice care after a courageous battle with Stage 4 Sarcoma. Nito’s strength, kindness, and humor have touched so many lives — and now he needs us more than ever.

Nito is being lovingly cared for at home by his devoted mother, Alicia Aquino, who has taken a leave of absence from work to be by his side full-time. He lives with his father, Willie, who is also doing everything he can to support his son through this incredibly difficult time. My husband Joe, Nito’s brother, and my sister-in-law Carmen in Australia are doing everything possible from near and far to care for Nito emotionally, physically, and financially.

This fundraiser is a way for us to come together as a community to lift some of the heavy burdens this tragedy has placed on Nito and his family. Your generous donations will go directly toward:

• Day-to-day care and comfort for Nito

• Living expenses and bills for his parents during this time of leave

• Medical and hospice-related costs

• Travel or support needs for close family
