Nirvana is my four-year-old cat and truly my closest family. This week has been incredibly hard—he’s been hospitalized multiple times for urinary obstruction, and the medical bills are overwhelming. Urinary obstruction in cats is a critical condition, usually fatal if not treated properly. Sediment can build up in the bladder, making urination impossible. If left untreated, it causes an intense amount of pain until eventually the bladder will burst, inevitably resulting in the death of the animal.

As a college student without a steady income, I’m struggling to keep up with these costs, but I want to do everything I can to give Nirvana the care he needs.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward Nirvana’s medical bills, so I can make sure he gets the best care possible without money standing in the way of his health. He means the world to me—he’s my comfort, my support, and we’re always there for each other, especially when times get rough.

I live on my own and am a full-time university student, thanks to full ride scholarships. I’m studying animal science because I want to help animals like Nirvana in the future.
