Help Niruma Get Back on the Trails

Story

Hello! I’m Stasia. I’m raising money for Niruma, an aspiring freeride mountain biker from Nepal. I crossed paths with Niruma back in April 2025 on my home trails in Santa Cruz. I was blown away by her commitment to learning the sport. A little bit about her story: Niruma got inspired to start riding by a few pro riders that came to Nepal to film some clips for a movie. She got her first bike back in 2023 and was instantly hooked. She told herself “it’s now or never” to start her progression, but there are very few resources in Nepal for mountain biking. She is one of the very few female mountain bikers in all of Nepal. She learned of the Sea Otter Bike Festival in CA, and of the amazing trails in Utah. So she left her job and sold her bike to afford the big trip to the US. The opportunity to ride proper trails in the US and gain some technical skills was worth more than the loss of her bike back home. I’ve been inspired by Niruma and have been attempting to set her up with a bike that fits her style! This is attempt #2. Sadly, attempt #1 bike donated to Niruma got stolen in transit. If you feel moved to help, anything is greatly appreciated. Or bike parts to donate! Looking for an XS frame, 27.5” back wheel rig with hopefully 150-160mm travel. Or any parts to spare that go along. @Niruma_10
