Nira and Victoria have faced an incredibly tough few months. After Nira was injured and unable to work for eight weeks, their financial situation became more challenging. Just as they were trying to stay hopeful, an unexpected tragedy struck. On November 23rd, during a baby gender reveal party, a fire broke out in their home. Thankfully, the fire was mostly contained to one room, but that room was their bedroom—the heart of their home.

The fire destroyed their dresser and everything inside it, and the intense heat melted several other belongings. The carpet in the bedroom was so badly damaged it had to be torn up and now needs to be replaced. The loss of these personal items, combined with the cost of cleaning and repairing the damage, has been overwhelming for Nira and Victoria. Despite everything, they are doing their best to stay positive and hopeful, leaning on each other for strength.
