If you've ever met Nino, you know that he always brings positive energy and laughter to any of our get-togethers. Kindness is natural to him. Two months ago, he started having trouble swallowing food which caused his dramatic weight loss. On July 22, he was rushed to the emergency and was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. He is trying to regain energy and enough nutrients to prepare for the next steps. He will be referred to a specialist to decide whether he needs to undergo surgery or chemotherapy.

His wife Odette needs to go on FMLA because she needs to care for Nino. Both are now dependent on EDD, which will not be sufficient to support the family and his medical expenses.
