Help Nina's Family Save Their Home

Donation protected
Over the past year and a half, Nina and her family have been through a lot. Her husband was diagnosed with colon cancer, had a foot of his colon removed, and then was being treated with a chemo pill. Last April, he was forced to resign from his job after 21 years saving the lives of hundreds of cats when the new management felt numbers on paper looked better than the actual lives of the animals. This caused him to have a mental breakdown. If you work in the animal field, you would understand what something like that can do to a person.
This forced him to lose his insurance and stop his treatment. His disability had also ended and he was unable to get unemployment. They have been fighting for a year to get him state insurance which he finally was approved for and is getting back on track with getting the help he needs not only to make sure he is still free of cancer, but to get him the mental health help he needs. All of his appointments have started. Jay even applied for a few jobs that he thought he could handle mentally, but when he would call to see if they looked at his application and resume, they told him they were not hiring or the position was filled.

Last May, Nina was in a bad car accident, luckily coming out unharmed but totaling her car. Since then she was able to purchase a new car, with car payments.

Jay was able to help Nina contribute with bills by cashing out his 401k, but that ran out in October. Since, Nina, has been struggling to make ends meet. She works long, hard hours, not having much time at home with her family. She tries to make ends meet and keep her family happy. Unfortunately, they have been having a very hard time keeping up with the bills and recently received notice that her house will go into foreclosure. She thought once she had her tax return, she could catch up, but it was too late. The money they have is not enough now due to fees and them withholding her making any payments causing it to go up. They refuse to take the money they have to offer now. They have until next Monday (4/22) to get the mortgage company the full $15,000 which by then, they told her will go up.

Nina and Jay would do anything for the people they love. They would help anyone in need, especially when it comes to someone needing help with their animals. I know they would even pay people back and pay it forward once they are back on track and have a double income again.
Please help them get back on track and not lose their family’s home.
