Lost my dream job because of DOGE.

My name is Nina and I recently lost my dream job due to DOGE. I was a chef at The Federal Executive Institute. I worked so hard but really loved the work I did there. I had plans to retire there. The rug was pulled from under me and many others. This happened at a time when I was getting comfortable with my income, and now my living expenses are too high for any of the jobs in my field that are available. Unemployment benefits are also not a sustainable income. I am also grieving losing this job, and it has been very emotionally taxing going out and looking for work. That being said, I am out there every day applying for jobs but haven’t heard anything yet. I am at a loss and as much as it pains me to ask for help, I don’t see another option. The timing of all this is so bad, and I just need a little boost until I can get back on my feet and find a job that checks all the boxes. Any help is greatly appreciated.
