Help Nina Lyman Through This Critical Time
Donation protected
A week ago, Nina was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. Making matters worse, she has been battling both Influenza A and pneumonia, leaving her extremely weak. If everything goes right, in another week she will be strong enough for a surgery to repair or replace the stents she had put in 7 years ago after a string of severe heart attacks; this is a major procedure that will take time to recover from.
While this has all been going on, Skip is also bedridden with Influenza A. Both in their 80s, their road to recovery will be long and difficult. The added financial burden will only make focusing on their recovery that much harder.
Nina and Skip have always been independent, supporting themselves through their hand-crafted artwork. With both of them unable to create or sell their work as a result of this, they are without their only source of income. While we hope insurance will cover most of the medical costs, the reality is uncertain, and this will not help with any of their routine living expenses.
We are reaching out to our community for help in supporting Nina and Skip through these challenging times. For anyone who is able, your donation--big or small—will help cover essential living expenses and allow Nina and Skip to focus on healing. Regardless of whether you can donate or not, please share their story and this fundraiser. Anything you can do to support Nina and Skip through this will be met with gratitude and appreciation.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Together, we will be able to support Nina and Skip to help them through their time of need.
