Hey everyone, as many of you know my cat, Nina, is my entire world. She is full of sweetness, spunk, and sass & I would do anything for her. I’ve done everything in my power to ensure she lives a healthy and happy life. She is 3 yrs old and has otherwise been very healthy. So this is extremely sudden and unexpected. I am really struggling but doing my best to stay strong for my girl.

Unfortunately she was admitted to the emergency vet yesterday with pyothorax (septic fluid filling her lungs). She is in critical care & has had two procedures to remove the fluid. We were hoping she’d be able to come home today but unfortunately the lung filled up again & they had to do another drainage.

Right now, Nina is in an oxygen chamber and continues to fight so hard. We are doing everything we can to help her pull through, but the emergency and critical care costs are quickly adding up.
