Hi, I'm Kat of Kat Dog Behavior reaching out to the community to ask for your help. Many of you are aware of the highly contagious strain of dog flu spreading through North Texas... our friend Nina from Buddhahood Canine Behavior has several dogs that are not in good shape and need resources ASAP.

I was on the phone with her this morning asking about a dog of hers and she said she was laid down in his crate, next to the dog so she could monitor his breathing.... I responded, "of course you are." Because that is who Nina is. She does whatever it takes for the dog, always. But thinking that its not enough can be a hopeless feeling so we are asking for your help!

Their high temperatures come with the potential of turning into puenomia which could result in them being hospitalized. All the dogs are on antibiotics with multiple humidifiers going, immune boosting supplements, protein, and steam showers. There are several dogs that are being monitored closely but are not in good shape. The past couple weeks have been multiple trips to the vet with a new dog each time. Sometimes they have healing breakthroughs but sadly that can change by the day. If you've ever heard dogs coughing so hard that they vomit it is absolutely heartbreaking.

Oh! And I almost forgot, she also has Covid on top of it all so she is unable to work and without any income coming in makes it even more challenging. She is down about $1,500 and predicts she's still a couple weeks out from being in the clear so I am estimating roughly $3k..?

I appreciate your support, even if it's $1, whatever you can donate, we are grateful. Happy Holidays...xo
