About a year ago, my mom adopted Niko from the shelter because he needed a loving home and was preparing for surgery. He had a tumor in his tail, which had to be removed. I remember the day he arrived, I was nervous because he had trouble walking and didn’t look very healthy.

But with my mom’s care, Niko’s quality of life quickly improved. He started walking normally, settled in, and looked SO much healthier than when we first brought him home, it was amazing to see!! ☺️

Unfortunately, we recently found out that Niko has mast cell tumors. We need to learn more about his condition to get him the treatment he needs. The biggest concern is whether the tumors are internal or just on the surface of his skin, and further testing is necessary to find out.

This is the estimate we received from the Animal Cancer Care center. Any contribution would mean the world to us as we continue doing everything we can to give Niko the best care and love possible.
