Hi everyone. I’m Karlene and I’m writing on behalf of my pup Niko. For those who may not be in the know, Niko has been battling canine lymphoma since August 2023. We have been blessed to have had the initial funding for his first two treatments resulting in a 16 month (first cycle) and 4 month (second cycle) long remission.

Unfortunately, his cancer has returned and we are out of funds for an additional cycle. Each cycle (not even including supportive medications and other supplies) costs $20,000. While we have insurance, the pay out can take between two to three billing cycles and will only cover 80 percent of the costs. We have shared invoices of what just the medication and visits will cost alone, not even including rechecks and supportive medications to combat side effects.

This especially heartbreaking as he has so much life and love to give. In fact, so many people have commented how healthy and handsome he looks and cannot believe he has cancer.

I know times are tough, but I am seeking help from my networks because Niko still has a fighting shot. He is young and has responded well to treatment with minimal side effects.
