My little Doxie Nikki is in need of help!! Nikki (better known as Nik Nak or NIkki Sixx) is a happy, energetic 6 year old MIni Dachshund that I rescued 2 years ago. He loves his walks and play time with his giant Great Dane "sister" Skyler, and his little Doxie "cousin" Rue. Sadly, he hasn't been able to do any of these things because his back went out.

Nik Nak is suffering from a herniated disc related to IVDD. At this point he is unable to walk. He is in need of surgery to remove the herniated disc material that is pressing on his spinal cord to relieve pain, and restore blood flow and function to his legs.

After consulting with specialists here in the USA, I have realized this type of surgery is financially out of reach. Through research we have found a clinic in Tijuana that specializes in this type of surgery at costs that are much more reasonable. I am therefore starting a "Help NIkki Go South of the Border" Go Fund Me.
